Another reason behind Alexa Bliss' confusing and sporadic use on WWE television in 2022 has just emerged.

As confirmed by PWInsider's Mike Johnson, Bliss and fiancee Ryan Cabrera are currently preparing for their wedding, with the couple set to tie the knot at a secret ceremony in Palm Springs, California this weekend. It is understood that even guests attending the wedding won't be informed of its location until just before the ceremony itself.

Cabrera and Bliss have been a couple since 2019, having been introduced by WWE star The Miz. November 2020 saw them get engaged. Congratulations to the happy couple ahead of their big day.

Alexa hasn't been a WWE regular since September 2021, when she took time off television shortly after losing a Raw Women's Championship match to Charlotte Flair at Extreme Rules. Vignettes hyping her seemingly imminent return started airing this January, leading to a series of "therapy" segments in which Bliss appeared to be readying herself for a full-time comeback, though the end result was a single appearance at Elimination Chamber 2022 on 19 February before she vanished again.

Bliss was one of several big WWE names to miss WrestleMania this year.
