BodySlam.net is reporting that Stephanie Vaquer vs. Liv Morgan was cut short due to concerns about the health of both women heading into WrestleMania 42. That's why the pair's Women's World Title match only went around 6-7 minutes on Saturday night.

According to sources, WWE management took the decision out of Vaquer and Morgan's hands by formatting things the way they did during 'Mania 42's opening card. They didn't want to run the risk of either worker getting hurt by over-extending themselves, but that didn't stop fans from complaining about how short the bout was.

Being fair, Stephanie and Liv still managed to pack a lot of content into their time. Morgan's Judgment Day pals Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez ran in to help her out, and there was a fun steel steps spot before the finish. Afterwards, Dominik Mysterio came out for the celebrations.

Earlier, Morgan had performed a dance routine set to her new entrance music, so this was a memorable evening for her despite fan moans about the length of the match. Clearly, many tuning into WrestleMania expected Vaquer and Liv to go a lot longer than 7 minutes.

That was never on the booking sheets due to worries about their status heading into the PLE. WWE wanted to make the event as pain and incident free for Vaquer and Morgan as possible. They were told to get in and get out on the night.

Liv and Steph continued their rivalry following Morgan's win over NXT star Sol Ruca on Monday's Raw. After that, Vaquer came out for another staredown with the new champ.
