Reby Hardy Reveals Matt Hardy Suffered Concussion At All Out 2020
The veteran is still in hospital at this time.
Reby Hardy has confirmed that her husband Matt Hardy is still in hospital and suffered a concussion at last night's All Out, according to Gary Cassidy of Sportskeeda.
Anyone who witnessed last night's 'Broken Rules' bout between Hardy and Sammy Guevara will know that the former WWE star was on the receiving end of a truly horrific bump. As Guevara attempted to spear the star off a scissor lift through some tables, Hardy unfortunately hit his head on the concrete and was clearly knocked out cold for a spell.
Aubrey Edwards stopped the match soon after the nasty incident, but the contest was later remarkably restarted after the on-site doctor decided Hardy was fit to continue.
Reby's confirmation that her husband did in fact suffer a concussion and is now set to undergo further imaging after his CT scan, definitely makes the decision to allow Hardy to continue look like a reckless one in hindsight.
When addressing the situation during the post-All Out media scrum, AEW President Tony Khan stated, 'I never would have went against the doctor’s decision, and most importantly, Matt would not have been able to overrule the doctor’s decision – Not with the doctor himself or with me.'
The most important thing is that Hardy is given the treatment and care he needs at this moment in time. Yet, this sort of incident simply cannot be repeated if AEW want to mark themselves out as a safe and respectable alternative to the likes of WWE.
