Free agent Killer Kross has confirmed he is in talks with multiple wrestling promotions as he ponders his next move in the sport.

The 36-year-old, who competed for WWE as 'Karrion Kross' prior to his 4 November 2021 release, said as much during a recent Highspots Sign It Live show. It sounds like he doesn't want to restrict himself to just one place, though (h/t Wrestling Inc.):-

“I am speaking to a series of companies and we shall see where I land. I am interested in being anywhere and everywhere right now. I have a lot of different ideas that are outside of some conventional concepts and not to be cryptic, but, we’ll see.”

Along with the likes of Keith Lee and Mia Yim, Kross was one of 11 wrestlers released by WWE on 4 November to officially become free agents yesterday, when their 90-day non-compete clauses expired.

Signed by WWE In February 2020, Kross was immediately pushed prominently in NXT, where he became champion three months after debuting on television. Injured that August, he was forced to vacate the strap just four days into his reign, but returned in December - and was champion again by the following April.

Transitioning to the main roster soon after this produced an immediate downturn for Kross. Amongst other things, he was stripped of his bombastic ring entrance, parroted from manager Scarlett, and saddled with ring attire resembling a bad Demolition parody on Raw. These aesthetic flaws, coupled with inconsistent booking, prevented him from getting over prior to his release.
