Renee Young Quits WWE!
The hugely talented Canadian is heading for the WWE exit door.
In some major news, Reene Young is heading for the WWE exit door.
Initially reported by Outkick and then picked up by PWInsider, Young is believed to have handed in her notice a week ago. It’s not yet known when the hugely talented Canadian will be finishing up with the company, but it is believed that she’ll be a part of the SummerSlam PPV this coming Sunday.
Young has been with WWE for eight years, having signed with Vince McMahon’s sports entertainment juggernaut back in 2012. Before that, Renee – under her real name of Renee Paquette – was a pivotal part of Right After Wrestling alongside Arda Ocal, Jimmy Korderas, and Mauro Ranallo.
During her time with WWE, Renee has been utilised as a show anchor and host, a backstage interviewer, a commentator, and she even briefly got physical as part of Dean Ambrose and The Miz’s rivalry a couple of years ago.
Young is of course married to AEW Champion Jon Moxley – the former Dean Ambrose – and many will instantly jump to the conclusion that Renee will be heading to All Elite Wrestling.
In recent times, there have been plentiful rumours that ESPN had been monitoring Renee’s work, and the 34-year-old won’t be short of offers when her WWE tenure comes to a close – whether she opts to stay within the pro wrestling industry or look further afield.
There’s no doubting WWE didn’t do nearly enough with the talents of Renee, and WWE will miss Renee Young more than Renee Young will miss WWE.
