Report: AEW Expected To Expand To 12 PPVs A Year, Airing On Max In 2024
AEW could be set to add even more events to its PPV schedule.
AEW could be about to expand its PPV schedule.
It was noted earlier this month in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Warner Bros. Discovery have suggested potentially adding a few more PPV events to the All Elite Wrestling calendar already. And according to a recent post on X from The Wrestling Observer's Andrew Zarian, it looks like more AEW PPVs could very much be popping up on the company's schedule in the not too distant future.
I feel confident to say that AEW will be on Max in 2024 and AEW will expand its PPV Schedule to 12 a year. pic.twitter.com/YrP7KCiExY

Zarian would also note how the company that just put on their biggest-ever show at All In inside of Wembley Stadium would be appearing on WBD's steaming service Max in 2024.
So, not only will AEW's PPV calendar go from boasting its current number of 7 premium events to almost doubling that number, Tony Khan's promotion will also reportedly be airing these special shows on a new platform, too.

Zarian also stated on the Mat Men Podcast that the TV rights deal between WBD and AEW will be done "soon" and that he felt confident in saying that Max would be AEW's new "home." Zarian was also quick to claim that this wasn't a "prediction."
According to this report then, it looks like the likes of Forbidden Door, WrestleDream and All In are simply the beginning of AEW's PPV expansion.
