Mike Johnson reported a chunk of IMPACT Wrestling news following the Anthem-helmed promotion's Emergence special and subsequent Second City Slamm television tapings, noting that 'Thicc Mama Pump's' 7 October challenger is due to be either of these top Knockouts. Slamovich seems the best bet as of this writing, given her confrontation with Grace at Emergence:-

'The Russian Dynamite' came face-to-face with Grace following her successful defence against Mia Yim. Handing her a death warrant, Masha singled herself out as a threat to Jordynne Grace's second reign as Knockouts World Champion.

Going by IMPACT's post-Emergence TV tapings, Deonna Purrazzo was also involved in two matches vs. Jordynne, one of which was contested for 'The Virtuosa' and Chelsea Green's Knockouts World Tag Team Championships. This will air on an imminent broadcast of IMPACT Wrestling's AXS TV show.

Jordynne Grace has held the Knockouts World Championship since dethroning Tasha Steelz at Slammiversary, winning the inaugural Queen of the Mountain match. Her first reign lasted for 182 days, concluding when she met Deonna Purrazzo at the 2020 Slammiversary pay-per-view. She and Purrazzo later held IMPACT's first all-Knockouts Iron Man match that August.
