The Judgment Day may have been a whole lot spookier had one of WWE's ideas for the group made it to television.

Fightful Select reports that the promotion had suggested the blue-bathed stable take a turn for the supernatural. This ended up not happening, however, with Edge, the group's founding member, against the suggestion.

Edge is now out of The Judgment Day after being turned upon by now-former stablemates Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest on this week's episode of Raw. At the same time, Finn Balor was entered into the faction, seemingly as the new leader.

Fightful note that talk of a major Judgment Day shift involving Edge and Balor started doing the rounds on the day of Raw. This was no last-minute decision, however, with pitches for Finn to join the faction before last weekend's Hell In A Cell 2022 premium live event (though Edge leaving had not been brought up by that stage).

The Judgment Day started coming together at WrestleMania 38, when Priest helped Edge to a victory over AJ Styles. Ripley was then added to the stable at WrestleMania Backlash the following month. In total, Edge's leadership lasted just 64 days before he was kicked out.
