Laredo Kid is expected back in IMPACT Wrestling fairly soon, reports Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer.

The reigning AAA World Cruiserweight Champion hasn't wrestled for the promotion since the 5 July 2019 broadcast of their weekly show, then airing via the Pursuit Channel. There, he was pinned by Rohit Raju. He does, however, hold wins over Raju, Fallah Bahh, and LA Knight (as Eli Drake) in IMPACT from when he teamed alongside Garza Jr. (now Angel Garza).

It's worth pointing out that IMPACT taped a few weeks of television and IMPACT Plus content earlier this week, with Laredo Kid not in attendance. The earliest he could return is IMPACT's tapings on 15, 16, and 17 August, although this would be immediately after AAA's Triplemania XXIX show, where he's currently set to challenge the Lucha Bros for the AAA World Tag Team Championships alongside El Hijo del Vikingo.

Of course, IMPACT is teasing stars from AAA - as well as AEW and New Japan - for their Bound For Glory pay-per-view on 23 October. A return there for Laredo Kid sees most likely.

Earlier this year, Laredo Kid returned to All Elite Wrestling, teaming with the Lucha Bros to go 1-1 in separate trios matches vs. Super Elite members.
