Cesaro's WWE contract is set to expire soon after WrestleMania 37, reports Raj Giri of Wrestling Inc.

No further details have been offered beyond that. There's no indication that 'The Swiss Superman' has plans on leaving the promotion, though 'Mania 37 is now less than three months away (10 and 11 April), giving WWE limited time to come to terms on a new deal for the 40-year-old.

Cesaro has been with WWE since 2011. He worked through the old Florida Championship Wrestling developmental territory before being called up to the main roster in 2012, enjoying a solid midcard career that has brought seven Tag Team Title reigns, one with the United States Championship, an Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal win, and other accolades. Nonetheless, Cesaro has long been considered one of WWE's most under-utilised stars. A world-class pro wrestler with a broad skillset, his push has never truly matched his talents, despite years of fan protests.

Recent times have seen Cesaro enjoy a greater focus on SmackDown, including an excellent match with Daniel Bryan on the 15 January show. He is set to be part of the men's Royal Rumble on tonight's pay-per-view.
