Report: Post-Extreme Rules Plans Being Kept Secret From WWE Staff

All plans are in place for the post-Extreme Rules tapings, but few within WWE's inner circle have seen the plans according to Ringside News.

A source for the site reported that plans and scripts for the first batch of shows leading up to August's SummerSlam have all been completed, but nobody on the creative team or roster will catch site of them until after the Horror Show At Extreme Rules has concluded.

The report noted that “there’s no more secrets, everything’s transparent" is a familiar phrase backstage, but followed up by confirming that “it’s anything but.

This is merely speculative on the part of your writer, but the policy could be as much to do with avoiding spoilers leaking as much as well as keeping people in the dark. The company have been recording television shows and pay-per-views at the Performance Center and Full Sail University since March to few or no people in attendance, but very little has escaped online before airing.

Keith Lee's recent NXT Championship victory was one of the first results to do the rounds due to an errant Instagram post from one of the NXT stars in attendance. The company will hope for no similar occurrences as they prepare for 'The Biggest Party Of the Summer'.
