A source close to Renee Young has indicated that the talented broadcaster working with All Elite Wrestling is "inevitable."

This is according to Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, writing that there is no deal between the two parties in place at the moment and that the Tony Khan-helmed promotion wasn't aware of Young's impending WWE departure until the news went public.

Young will end her eight-year association with WWE this weekend, having filed her resignation last week. Sunday's SummerSlam 2020 pay-per-view will be her last show.

As the wife of current AEW World Champion Jon Moxley, Young's name was always going to be linked to AEW, though Meltzer notes that she won't appear for the group anytime soon as she has a "serious non-compete clause." Young is believed to have already received multiple offers, with her interests thought to include anything sports-related, talk shows, comedies, podcasting, and more. She will likely have a full range of options to pick from, with big-time TV networks like FOX and ESPN interested in her in the past.

Recently, Young has occupied herself by writing and promoting her upcoming cookbook, Holy Bleep That's Good, which was announced in July.
