Report: Top WWE Star Sent Home From The Road
This WWE wrestler missed a house show in Corpus Christi after being sent home the day before.
WWE sent Jeff Hardy home from the road this past weekend, reports PWInsider’s Mike Johnson.
The writeup notes that Hardy entered an unusual performance Edinburg, Texas on Saturday (4 December). Teaming with King Woods and Drew McIntyre to face The Bloodline, Hardy was worked over for the bulk of the contest, reportedly becoming increasingly “sluggish” as the match went on.
Jeff eventually made a hot tag to McIntyre. Rather than going to the apron, however, Hardy vanished into the audience with security in tow. He did not come back to the ring to celebrate with his partners after the match.

Rey Mysterio ended up replacing Hardy for the following night’s house show in Corpus Christi, Texas, with Jeff not even backstage for that show.
WWE is yet to respond to PWInsider’s request for a comment on the matter.
Hardy, 44, last wrestled on WWE television on 26 November, when he and McIntyre defeated Happy Corbin and Madcap Moss on SmackDown. The veteran has kept an active media schedule as of late and is believed to be bound to the promotion, contractually, until September 2022.
