Professional wrestling belt expert Dan Beltzer tweeted a few weeks ago that the promotion was working on new sets of Tag Team Championship straps. They were described as follows:-

Fightful's sources have suggested that on top of the above, other changes have been pitched as well, though there's no word on specifics.

WWE personnel have indicated that they would favour some alterations to the company's current designs. When asked about how belts are fastened, talent stated that although velcro helps them attach straps quickly, it looks worse than snaps.

Plans to introduce new title belts were reportedly in the works prior to WWE's recent executive shakeup, though Paul 'Triple H' Levesque's eagerness to change things since becoming the company's head of creative has resulted in some matters being expedited. Beyond belts, other aesthetic changes relating to NXT, Raw, and SmackDown may also be coming soon.

Levesque has been in his current position since late July, following Vince McMahon's resignation as WWE Chairman and CEO. Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan have ascended to the position of co-CEOs in the same timeframe.
