Long-time wantaway WWE tag team The Revival could be on the verge of signing new contracts with the promotion.

This is according to Tom Colohue of Sportskeeda/Daily DDT, who claims that backstage sources within WWE have told him that company officials are "very confident" of signing Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson to new deals, and aren't at all afraid of the duo being stolen away by AEW.

If the dates provided by Fightful back in May 2019 are accurate, Wilder is contracted through April 2020 while Wilder's deal expires in June. This is because two months were added to Dash's deal after missing time due to injury in 2017.

Re-signing would be quite the turnaround for a duo who originally asked for their release last January, then reportedly turned down new $500,000 p/a contracts a few months later. They have since won both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Championships as well as "starring" in maligned segments like Ucey Hot. Such mixed presentation hasn't always flattered them, though it's easy to understand why WWE might want to keep them around.
