This is according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer, who reported that;

"Speaking of Hayes, it has been batted around the idea of Hayes in the Hurt Business with MVP, Benjamin, Alexander and Lashley. That was a discussion and not definite. But there has been talk of Hayes coming to the main roster. It probably wouldn’t happen until after April since Bron Breakker vs. Hayes looks to be the main event of the 4/1 NXT show in Los Angeles"

Hayes is currently being positioned as Bron Breakker's NXT Championship challenger at the brand's Stand & Deliver show the day of WrestleMania Night 1. A former North American Champion, he's been a standout on the show since the August 2021 rebrand to "2.0", alongside partner and mouthpiece Trick Williams.

WWE have been teasing bringing The Hurt Business back together for months now. MVP has regularly been seen talking with Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander, having also recently taken credit for having Bobby Lashley's kayfabe suspension earlier this year. 'The All-Mighty' wanted no part of a formal reunion between the two, citing Porter's heel turn on him to join up with Omos after WrestleMania 38. He has since taken to wearing suits and sporting a more heelish demeanour in his ongoing programme with Brock Lesnar though, which could foreshadow the group's imminent return.
