PWInsider reports that the WWE Raw star is legitimately injured, but couldn't offer any specifics on the situation.

Ripley, who was booked for an NXT cameo on Tuesday, was shown laid out in the parking lot during the broadcast. Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio were walking away from the scene as officials tended to Ripley, who was bloodied and battered as part of the angle.

Fightful's Sean Ross Sapp has confirmed that the x-rays circulated by WWE to promote the beatdown angle are legitimate:

Internal claims are that this is a legit X ray

Rhea has been feuding with Morgan extensively throughout 2024, beginning with Liv targeting Ripley as part of her 'Revenge Tour', and peaking with the current Women's World Champion stealing Dominick from Rhea's arm. Morgan has effectively taken Ripley's spot in The Judgment Day, as Rhea and Damian Priest were kicked out.

There is currently no word on the extent of Ripley's injury or how long she'll be out of action. Running a Judgment Day assault helped fit the real-life situation into current WWE storylines, giving Ripley an easy return storyline once she's ready to compete again, as the extended rivalry with Morgan rumbles on.

Rhea has been a staple of WWE programming throughout 2024, with the Morgan storyline comprising the bulk of her creative output. The duo's last singles match came at Bad Blood 2024 on 5 October, where Raquel Rodriguez returned to WWE, aligning with Morgan and the Judgment Day, taking Rhea out in the process.

Recent onscreen signs suggest another Morgan vs. Ripley singles match was on the horizon, though Rhea hasn't wrestled since the 7 October Raw tapings. She is technically 1-1 against Liv in singles matches this year, as the Bad Blood bout was called as a disqualification, despite the mistimed Rodriguez return.
