Following the fantastic NWA EmPowerrr on Saturday, Billy Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance put on another impressive show with last night's NWA 73 PPV.

The most notable stories coming out of NWA 73, are that Trevor Murdoch is the new NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion, Le Rebellion are the new NWA World Tag Team Champions, and Ric Flair was at his absolute Ric Flair best.

In the main event, Murdoch brought a crushing halt to Nick Aldis' mammoth 1,044-day reign as the NWA Worlds Champion. Having been beaten several times prior by the National Treasure, Murdoch got the somewhat surprise win here, putting Aldis away after hitting a piledriver and a bulldog from the top rope.

After the match, Ric Flair was one of those celebrating in the ring with Murdoch. But for the Nature Boy, he set the tone earlier in the night, cutting a phenomenal promo full of positivity. Unlike so many recently-released stars who take these opportunities to trash their former employer, Flair had nothing but love for Vince McMahon, for Triple H, for Shawn Michaels, for the Undertaker, for Randy Orton, for Steve Austin, for Chris Jericho, and also had plentiful praise for Tony Khan.

As alluded to, the Le Rebellion tandem of Mecha Wolf and Bestia 666 are the new NWA World Tag Team Champions, dethroning Aron Stevens and Kratos.

Elsewhere on the card, NWA Women's World Champion Kamille retained against Chelsea Green, Mickie James bested Kylie Rae, National Champion Chris Adonis beat James Storm, Judais won a battle royal to become the #1 contender for Adonis' prize, Tim Storm picked up the W against Crimson and Thom Latimer, and the trio of Tyrus, Jordan Clearwater and the Mystery Man beat Da Pope, Odinosn and Parrow.
