Ric Flair Returns To Wrestling With "Uncensored" New Podcast
Ric Flair and Mark Madden launch Woooo Nation on Wednesday 17 November.
Ric Flair is to return to the professional wrestling contentverse with a new podcast, Wooooo Nation.
A trailer for this "uncensored" new show was released on Thursday. It can be viewed at the foot of this page, and while it offers few details on the nature of the content itself, it does reveal that Flair's co-host will be former WCW announcer Mark Madden.
Wooooo Nation's first episode drops on Wednesday 17 November. The show will continue in a similar weekly slot thereafter.
Flair said the following in a press release announcing the new podcast:-
"I’ve had the greatest career in the history of the professional wrestling, and now it’s time to have the greatest podcast. This is the first time in my career I’ll truly be able to open up about not only my career, but the entire wrestling business. Whether you like it or not, learn to love it, because it’s going to be the best podcast going today."
Released from WWE earlier this year, Flair's wrestling career has effectively been on hold since September, when a new episode of VICE's Dark Side of the Ring series raised public awareness of the sexual assault allegations made against Flair on the infamous Plane Ride From Hell of 2002.
Flight attendant Heidi Doyle appeared on the episode, speaking on her allegations that a naked Flair forced her to touch his exposed penis on said journey.
