Ricky Starks Wins FTW Title At AEW Fyter Fest
The Stroke Daddy strikes gold on AEW Dynamite.
Playing out to one of the loudest wrestling reactions in a long, long time, last night's AEW Dynamite saw Ricky Starks defeat Brian Cage to become the new FTW Champion.
This Fyter Fest Night 1 edition of Dynamite was the Stroke Daddy's return to action after being unable to compete for several months due to a neck fracture.
Thanks to a little help from his Team Taz teammates - most notably Powerhouse Hobbs clocking Cage with the FTW Title - Starks was able to get the pinfall after hitting a spear. From there, the Texas crowd at Cedar Park erupted as Bryce Remsburg counted the three.

Ricky Starks has been a revelation since arriving in AEW in June 2020. Having already impressed prior to becoming #AllElite - especially during his time in Billy Corgan's National Wrestling Alliance - Absolute has made the most of each and every opportunity that's come his way.
As for Brian Cage, his days as a member of Team Taz look increasingly numbered.
