As if further proof was needed that Vince McMahon is back in WWE creative, Raw star Ricochet has outright confirmed as much.

In a conversation that should dispel any remaining doubts on McMahon's creative role, Ricochet told SPORF that Vince's fingers are in everything, creatively, though Paul 'Triple H' Levesque and the rest of the team remain focused on trying to bring out the best in WWE's wrestlers.

Said Ricochet:-

“Vince is still involved and Vince is still talked to. He’s still someone that everyone looks to, especially with creative. So he’s got his fingers in everything too. I think Triple H and everybody in creative is just trying to do the best they can in bringing out the best in who they have. They’re trying to work to everyone’s strengths. I think that’s something that Triple H has always done."

Continuing, Ricochet said that creative wants to grow WWE's brand and highlight its performers' strengths:-

“They want to grow the brand as much as possible. Whether it’s Raw or SmackDown or NXT. They’re trying to highlight the strengths of everybody. I think it’s been great so far. Everybody sees the popularity of the brand now, so they just want to expand it as much as possible. I think what they’ve been doing recently with everybody has been great. Everybody’s been going out there and giving it their all.”

McMahon, 77, was forced to resign in disgrace amidst multiple sexual misconduct allegations in July 2022, with the former WWE Chairman and CEO alleged to have paid tens of millions of company dollars out in non-disclosure agreements. Vince's son-in-law, Levesque, was elevated to the role of WWE's Chief Content Officer, becoming head of creative in the process.

Although Triple H remains WWE CCO, McMahon returned to the company's board of directors in January, doing so as Executive Chairman. This was effectively a coup. Vince wrote to WWE executives claiming that if they didn't allow his return, he would not consent to new media rights deals being agreed or the company's sale, having retained majority decision-making power despite his resignation.

In April, McMahon regained the final say in all things WWE creative following Endeavor's purchase of the promotion.
