Daniel Garcia had a productive Saturday night in Pro Wrestling Guerrilla, leaving the promotion's Delivering the Goods event as World Champion.

The All Elite Wrestling-contracted up-and-comer defeated Bandido to take the prize in a main event stretching for roughly 25 minutes at the Globe Theatre in Los Angeles, California. Afterwards, Garcia was confronted by DDT's Konosuke Takeshita, who is currently in AEW for a year-long excursion.

Garcia ended up challenging Takeshita to a title fight on the next PWG show, the date of which is yet to be confirmed. The DDT ace defeated Aramis elsewhere on the card.

Jonathan Gresham, another wrestler contracted to AEW, defeated Kevin Blackwood on the undercard.

Delivering the Goods was Garcia's second big PWG triumph of the year, having scooped the annual Battle of Los Angeles tournament by defeating Blackwood, Black Taurus, Alex Shelley, and Mike Bailey in January. Although his independent calendar has been less busy in 2022 than 2021, the 23-year-old now sits atop a leading group responsible for creating more stars over the past couple of decades than any other indie.

PWG's slower distribution methods mean that Delivering the Goods is currently unavailable for viewing.
