Rob Van Dam Has No Time For Tribal Wrestling Fan BS
RVD claps back at WWE fans saying he was “wrong” to work for AEW recently.
Rob Van Dam, it seems, has no time for tribalism.
The wrestling legend tweeted on Monday claiming that WWE fans have claimed he was “wrong” to debut for rival company AEW recently. Van Dam asked if they would “eat sh*t” if he stated he had permission to cross the promotional divide, then said he would “keep it to himself” after mentioning the “meaningless bullsh*t that comes out of their mouths.”
Said RVD himself:-
Some fans are saying I did WWE wrong by appearing on AEW. I wonder if they would all eat sh*t f I revealed that I had permission to do it? Or would they just move on to puke out the next meaningless bullsh*t that comes out of their mouths? Yeah, I figured. I’ll keep it to my self for now.
Van Dam first appeared for AEW on the 2 August episode of Dynamite, where he was introduced by old ECW rival Jerry Lynn to build a match with Jack Perry. That FTW World Title clash then took place the following week, with RVD earning positive reviews in defeat to Perry, who ousted the legend in a shade under 10 minutes.
RVD, 52, last wrestled for WWE in August 2014, though he appeared as recently as the 1 May episode of Raw, announcing picks for this year’s WWE Draft. His two-show AEW run is believed to be a one-off.
