Last night's NXT on USA Network debut saw Roderick Strong defeat Velveteen Dream to become North American Champion, meaning that his Undisputed Era stable now holds every championship available to them on the brand.

Dream vs. Strong was an electric affair. Positioned to close NXT's first hour (before the show flipped from USA to the WWE Network), it transformed Full Sail University into a cauldron of noise as the talented duo worked an action-packed format typical of the black and gold brand, culminating in interference from Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O'Reilly.

Though Dream was initially able to fight the Undisputed Era off and even kicked out of The End of Heartache following a ref bump, he was overcome by the numbers game. Roddy absorbed two Dream Valley Drivers before his stablemates once again came to his aid then hit his finisher for a second time to win the fall in around 15 minutes.

Undisputed Era posed with their respective championships afterwards. They were already the most dominant faction in NXT history beforehand, though this image acts as a nice exclamation point:-

Congratulations to Strong for becoming one of the stars of NXT's first two-hour episode.
