ROH Star Becomes Free Agent
AEW & WWE On Alert - Former ROH World Champion Dalton Castle Is Free Agent.
According to Wrestling Inc., Dalton Castle is now a free agent.
Castle originally signed with Ring of Honor back in 2013 and has gone on to become a Soaring Eagle Cup, ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship, and ROH World Championship winner during his time in the company, with the star defeating Cody Rhodes in 2017 to capture the top ROH belt.
However, despite ROH offering Castle a new contract which is said to be a good deal, the wrestler appears to be curious about what the future could hold for him outside of the company. As of writing, there's been no word on whether any other promotions have contacted Castle about joining them in the future, and it's also worth noting that Castle is still considering signing back on with ROH.
His last appearance for ROH came back in December. During this showing on ROH TV, Castle was able to overcome newcomer Brian Johnson, nailing the ROH newbie with a Bang-A-Rang for the win.
Could we see Castle kick off 2021 with a bang and set-up shop in WWE, AEW, NJPW or Impact Wrestling in the not too distant future?
Stay tuned for more updates on this developing situation.
