It's no secret that former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns has been suspended for 30 days due to violating the company's wellness policy, but what might be a surprise is what Reigns was forced to do prior to being sent home.

At one of his last WWE events, Reigns was ordered to go into the locker room and apologize to his fellow performers for his violation of the company's policy, according to a report from Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter. The reaction from the WWE staff was apparently very mixed.

Some felt that the Reigns apology was unnecessary and humiliating for him to have to take part in. Others felt that this was something that Reigns deserved due to him being handed the push of the century and falling on his face due to a testing violation.

Apparently Reigns was told by WWE talent relations executive Mark Carrano (of Total Divas fame) that he needed to go apologize to the rest of the performers, which means that the idea came from Triple H (Caranno reports to him). Evidently this was not a Vince McMahon idea.
