Could it FINALLY be happening?

Ronda Rousey teased a potential 4 Horsewomen vs. 4 Horsewomen match following her successful defence of the Raw Women's Championship at the Royal Rumble PPV last night.

After defeating Sasha Banks in a match-of-the-night contender, Rousey was interviewed backstage and subsequent to the standard respectful comments regarding her opponent, stated:-

"I just think the 4 Horsewomen is the only real point of contention for me, you know? Me and my friends were the 4 Horsewomen before we came to WWE."

Continuing that her group wasn't a gimmick or a marketing ploy, Rousey accused Banks et al. of trying to package and sell it to the masses. Insisting that the wrestling foursome don't even like each other, the former UFC Women's Bantamweight champion reiterated that her MMA clique were genuine, concluding:-

"...it's just something that is so personal and near and dear to me and my friends that if they held the 4's up in the same regard that we do I would have respect for that, but for them [it's] nothing but marketing."

Her statements, combined with Banks holding up the 4 Horsewomen sign following their match on Sunday night, will add to the speculation of a showdown between the groups in the future.

Nevertheless, Rousey may have more pressing issues at hand following Becky Lynch's women's Royal Rumble win. Many assume it will be her championship that Lynch will target at WrestleMania, and that match is expected to be an instant classic.
