Ronda Rousey's Next WWE Match Revealed?
Royal Rumble winner Ronda Rousey is about to hit the road with WWE before WrestleMania.
Ronda Rousey is currently advertised for a WWE house show on 6 March in Laval, Quebec, Canada.
The 2022 Royal Rumble winner, who will reveal her WrestleMania 38 intentions on Friday's episode of SmackDown, is slated to team with Sasha Banks vs. Shayna Baszler and Charlotte Flair. This early promotion kinda gives the game away on the suspected Rousey vs. Flair bout in Dallas this April.
That's still coming as a surprise to many - most WWE fans predicted that Ronda would challenge old rival Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Title at 'Mania, but it seems she's headed for a SmackDown Women's Title showdown instead.
WWE's house show announcement is notable for several reasons. Firstly, the fact that Rousey and Baszler will be on opposite sides of the ring. They shared a moment in the Rumble last weekend, and are well-known friends away from WWE's cameras.
Second is the idea that this could be Ronda's only official (non-Rumble) match before WrestleMania. It's unlikely that she'll be working TV bouts until then, so maybe WWE just want to shake off some ring rust pre-Texas. If that's the case, then Rousey might need more than one live event under her belt.
