Roxanne Perez Reveals Surgery To Remove 'Benign Mass' Amidst WWE Absence (WWE News)
WWE star says she'll be "back in the ring in no time" following forced layoff.
WWE star Roxanne Perez has been posted missing from company programming lately, and she hasn't wrestled since appearing in the 30-woman Royal Rumble match over in Saudi Arabia. Now, thanks to a TikTok update (posted via @WrestlePurists) from Perez herself, fans have an update on what's been happening with her.
Roxanne disclosed in a short video how she recently went under the knife to remove a "benign mass" from her back that had been causing pain and problems for months. The surgery went well, so she's on the road to recovery and says she'll be "back in the ring in no time".
The Judgment Day member did appear on the 2 February episode of flagship show Raw. She was put through a table on that show, but hasn't been involved ever since. Hopefully, as Roxanne noted, it won't be too long before she's back doing her thing alongside stablemates like Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and more.
It's worth noting that fellow Judgment Day member JD McDonagh also went under the knife for surgery himself, but he's since returned on the 16 February Raw. Soon, the whole band will be back together on camera.
Best wishes to Perez as she continues recovering from surgery. It's a major positive for both her and WWE's creative team that she won't miss much time, especially during WrestleMania 42 season. Obviously, as Roxanne noted in the video, everyone's health is the primary concern.
On that procedure to remove the mass, Perez added this: "I didn’t want to have time off. My recovery is going well. I don’t have too much pain anymore. It kind of comes and goes".
