Rumoured WWE WrestleMania 35 Plans For Trish Stratus & Lita
Team Bestie aren't done, not by a long shot...
Mike Johnson of PWInsider is reporting that WWE legends Trish Stratus and Lita are highly likely to return for WrestleMania season early next year. That means their 10-women tag-team match win on the latest Raw wasn't a goodbye for 'Team Bestie'.
Johnson said on his podcast that both are earmarked for a "big tag match" at 'Mania 35, but further details are scarce on who their opponents would be at MetLife Stadium. WWE have time to figure that out, and it could maybe mean Trish and Lita will also play a part in January's Royal Rumble.
Other news sources and fans on social media are speculating that Trish and Lita will be involved in a match for the upcoming WWE Women's Tag-Team Titles next spring. That'd make the most sense, because WWE have been handing out 'We Want Women's Tag Championships' signs to the audience since Evolution. Some were visible on the latest Raw as well.
It's understood the company want to build excitement for the new belts, and that's why they're actively encouraging female talent to talk about them in interviews with the media.
