Last night's WWE Raw brought a couple of new developments regarding this Sunday's Stomping Grounds pay-per-view card, with United States Champion Samoa Joe vs. Ricochet the most notable addition.

This bout came together when 'The One and Only' took the victory in a five-way match to crown a number one contender. With Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, and Cesaro all eliminated, Ricochet and Miz did battle, leading, eventually, to the high-flyer scoring the victory with the 630 Splash.

Joe and Ricochet brawled afterwards, with the challenger winning the exchange after diving to the outside.

Raw also brought a Stomping Grounds tag match in Big E and Xavier Woods vs. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, which was booked shortly after The New Day interrupted a busy Sami & Kevin Show segment.
