Most wrestlers dont even get to have the privilege of being seen by millions of late night viewers, but Santino was lucky enough to be featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live along with the legendary Rowdy Roddy Piper back in May of 2008. At the time Jimmy Kimmels real life cousin, Cousin Sal, was a wrestling fan who loved Roddy Piper. It was his birthday, so Jimmy had Piper greet Sal and present him with a birthday cake. Suddenly, Santino Marella appeared and made fun of both Piper and Sal. Sal, not pleased with the interruption, threw a cake at Santinos face and attacked him. Cousin Sal would then show up on the next edition of Monday Night Raw where Santino would apologize to Sad with an apology cake laced with sarcasm. Piper arrived, and the two threw the apology cake on Santino. This would eventually lead to a match between Santino and Sal on a taping of Smackdown where Sal emerged victorious. Santino may have been humiliated, but at least he got free publicity on a late night talk show as well as two cakes. Not bad, Santino.
