Scarlett Bordeaux Receives WWE Tryout
WWE's search for fresh talent continues with former Impact star.
Former Impact Wrestling Knockout Scarlett Bordeaux was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida for an official tryout yesterday.
This is according to Squared Circle Sirens, who have a proven, reliable track record regarding PC talent, and claim that their sources say Bordeaux was seen going through the tryout process inside a wrestling ring.
No surprises here, then, as WWE are currently in the business of signing any performer with significant name value. Scarlett certainly fits that mold and is free to negotiate after leaving Impact this past June.
Bordeaux first broke through while working in Ring of Honour from 2012 to 2017, though her career didn't truly take off until she joined Impact in 2018. Branded the 'Smokeshow,' she worked a throwback temptress gimmick based on the idea that everyone else was in awe of her looks, playing a prominent heel role for much of her run.
Her last few Impact storylines saw her collide with Glenn Gilbertti (the former Disco Inferno), then team with Fallah Bahh for an intergender programme with the Desi Hit Squad. She's currently active in Mexico's AAA, too, competing for the World Mixed Tag Team Championships at Triplemania XXVII on 3 August.
