With both Scarlett Bordeaux and Killer Kross having been released by WWE on 4 November, many wrestling fans had long been left baffled by WWE's decision not to move Scarlett to the Raw brand with the two-time NXT Champion.

Speaking during an appearance on Oral Sessions with Renee Paquette (as per Wrestling Inc.) - where she was also joined by Kross - Bordeaux has revealed there were tentative plans to have her wrestle on the main roster, but that those plans were brought to a halt when she suffered an issue with one of her breast implants.

As Scarlett detailed:

"I wasn't medically cleared yet. I was having matches before Raw and SmackDown because they wanted me to wrestle. After the second match, everything was going great, I get home and look in the mirror and I'm like, 'One of these doesn't look like the other'. The next day was NXT and I immediately go to medical and I'm like, 'Hey, I'm not sure if I'm going crazy or if they always looked like this. Maybe I'm just tired'. With the adrenaline from wrestling, you don't notice certain things hurt all the time, so I didn't think anything of it. I went to medical and they were like, 'Yes, one of your boobs is totally gone'. I was like, 'I can get the surgery and can manage and be ringside, that's no problem. I just can't wrestle right away'. The plan was, I guess for me to wrestle, so they were like, 'When you're totally clear, you're gonna wrestle'. They scrapped all the managing stuff at that point, and I was sitting at home for those last four months just waiting."

That main roster bow would never come for Scarlett Bordeaux, and poor Karrion Kross would lose the mystique of his majestic entrance whilst also being given an awful gladiator-style get-up that made him look like some sort of bizarre Kwang/Sultan hybrid.

To think, WWE had a white-hot combo on their hands with Scarlett and Kross, and the company bungled both stars in a forehead-slapping way.

As for what's next for the pair, Bordeaux's WWE non-compete clause has already expired, while Kross will become a free agent in early February. One has to imagine that neither of the couple will be short of offers as and when they choose to return to the squared circle.
