Scott Steiner Appears At NWA Powerrr Tapings
Big Poppa Pump is the latest name to turn up in the NWA.
Following the debut of Marty Scurll at the company’s Into the Fire PPV this past weekend, the National Wrestling Alliance has now seen another surprise name appear during the promotion’s recent NWA Powerrr TV tapings.
From those in attendance at last night’s Powerrr tapings from Atlanta, Georgia’s GPB Studios, multiple-time World Champion Scott Steiner is the latest name to join Billy Corgan and Dave Lagana’s NWA.
Big Poppa Pump didn’t just make an appearance on NWA Powerrr, though, for he competed in a six-man tag match, too. To air on a future episode of Powerrr, Steiner teamed with The Wildcards to go up against Eli Drake, Robert Gibson, and the absolute best babyface in the wrestling world right now, Tim Storm.
Thanks to Twitter user Dave Wills – as in, the original “It’s still real to me, dammit!” guy – you can check out Scott Steiner’s Powerrr arrival below.
Despite being synonymous with Detroit, Michigan, Steiner and his brother Rick have a long history with Atlanta, Georgia due to their lengthy tenure with World Championship Wrestling. Likewise, The Big Bad Booty Daddy has a history with the NWA due to his time with Mid-Atlantic Championship Wrestling and Jim Crockett Promotions – before JCP was bought out and turned into WCW.
