Sean 'X-Pac' Waltman's Huge In-Ring Return Confirmed
The WWE Hall of Famer will wrestle for GCW later this month.
Sean Waltman's first pro wrestling match since April 2019 has just been confirmed.
Leading indie group Game Changer Wrestling has announced that X-Pac will team with Joey Janela to face Brian Myers and Matt Cardona at its Welcome to Heartbreak event. The show takes place in Los Angeles, California on Friday 25 February.
Waltman's last match saw him team with Jushin Thunder Liger and Hurricane Helms to defeat Caleb Konley, Jake Manning, and Zane Riley for WrestleCon over WrestleMania 35 weekend. The WWE Hall of Famer had taken the last few years off to undergo surgery and recuperate several longstanding issues, but has talked up the prospect of wrestling in 2022 several times over the past few months. Now, it's finally happening.
Last month's The Wrld on GCW event hosted X-Pac's return to wrestling. Making his presence felt following a chaotic, inference-heavy bout between Janela and Cardona, he saved the AEW wrestler from the former Zack Ryder and Myers, who was debuting for the promotion. X-Pac hit a couple of heel kicks and an X-Factor in the process, but couldn't land the Bronco Buster.
He'll get that chance on 25 February.
