Last Night's episode of Friday Night SmackDown on FOX featured the main roster TV debut of second generation star, Cal Bloom.

Making his debut in a squash at the hands of a returning Sheamus, Bloom is the son of former WWE, WCW and AWA performer Wayne Bloom. Back in the day he teamed with Mike Enos as both The Destruction Crew and The Beverly Brothers.

Wayne's last appearance for WWE came way back in 1993 and he later retired in 1999.

Cal was signed by WWE in March 2019 and made his in-ring debut in May but has scarcely been used in the company since then.

As a former football player at the University of Central Florida, Bloom definitely has the athletic potential to go far as a professional wrestler. It must be noted, too, that this wasn't Bloom's official call up from NXT, meaning that he'll still have plenty of time to grow as a performer on the black and yellow brand.

Elsewhere on the show, The Forgotten Sons made their full main roster debuts by running through the Lucha House Party.

This year's edition of the SmackDown after WrestleMania may not have been as special as it has been in the past, but it still featured its fair share of debuting stars.

Silver linings and all that.
