Secondary TNA Show Could Be On The Way?
TNA and POP TV testing the waters as replays of Impact Wrestling move to Saturday.
Replays of TNA's Impact Wrestling program have been rescheduled to Saturday mornings on POP TV, no longer airing late Tuesday Nights.
The decision was reportedly made by both TNA and POP after the Tuesday replays failed to bring in a large enough audience. However, the move is fueled by positive intentions as it's reported the new time slot will be a way of testing to see if a secondary TNA show is a possibility.
PWInsider.com reported that POP TV is satisfied with Impact Wrestling's ratings since debuting on the network on January 5th.
It's not certain if the potential for a second show is what TNA President Dixie Carter was referring to in last week's staff meeting, during which she reportedly promised that big things are on the horizon.
Despite relocating its headquarters to the Shop TNA warehouse, the company appears to be stablilising after a turbulent few years. TNA will receive a welcome boost once a deal - or preferably multiple deals - is penned with interested investors and partners.
Replays of Impact Wrestling will now air on Saturdays at 11:30am EST.
