On the 29 April edition of AEW Rampage, fans caught a glimpse of a potential future paring between two of AEW’s most beloved stars.

After weeks of trying (and failing) to curse Hook, a frustrated Danhausen took to the ring, demanding the chip-loving wrestling prodigy face him in one-on-one.

More annoyed by Danhausen’s antics than anything, 'The Cold-Hearted Handsome Devil' was finally pushed too far last week when Danhausen began targeting his beloved snacks, scattering potato chips all over the backstage floor.

This disrespect set a fire underneath the rising star, prompting him to speak for the first time on AEW programming, slamming Danhausen into a wall and accepting the 'Very Nice, Very Evil' star's challenge.

While the segment seemed bound to end in blows between the two men, interference by ‘Smart’ Mark Sterling and his latest client, ‘The Premier Athlete’ Tony Neese forced the pair to team up in order to fend off the ambush. As the dust settled following the abrupt run-in, Hook rejected a handshake from Danhausen before departing the ring - though it should be noted he didn't choke Danhausen out, either.

With the incredible amount of fan support behind 'Hookhausen', it is clear the story between these two is far from over.
