Seth Rollins was legitimately attacked by an attendee of last night's WWE Raw show in Brooklyn, New York.

The fan jumped over the barricade and ran around the stage as Rollins was walking up the ramp following a segment with Finn Balor, leaping upon Seth in a moment caught by WWE cameras for a few seconds. WWE's production team cut to a replay while the incident was playing out, with crew members pulling the fan away from Rollins and taking him to the back, preventing a scary situation from escalating.

WWE, meanwhile, has released the following statement on the matter:-

“WWE takes the safety of its performers very seriously. The individual who attacked Seth Rollins has been turned over to the NYPD and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law."

Rollins is yet to comment on what happened, though he was back in character when the cameras swung back to him after the Balor replay and returned for a ringside angle during the night's main event. It seems, for now, that he is okay.

This is, unfortunately, the second example of a crowd member attempting to attack or confront performers on a major American wrestling show in 2021, following a similar incident at AEW Dynamite: Road Rager back in July.
