After entering at the #10 slot, the heavily favoured Seth Rollins emerged victorious from the 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble match, and is headed to the main event of WrestleMania 35. Or the midcard. In any event, he is set to challenge for either the WWE or Universal Championship.

Given the incendiary and bizarre promo he cut on the December 10, 2018 RAW—in which Rollins blasted then Acting General Manager Baron Corbin for handing Brock Lesnar the Universal Title at Crown Jewel the previous month—it seems that WWE has foreshadowed Seth Rollins Vs Brock Lesnar in New Jersey. Rollins also chided Lesnar for having not worked a televised RAW match since 2002.

It was a popular result, if not overwhelmingly so—though that may have something to do with the sheer exhaustion palpable in Chase Field. Rollins ousted Braun Strowman in a heated and dramatic finishing sequence that followed, including the Kickoff portion, seven hours of wildly uneven, momentous, and frankly nuts professional wrestling.

Rollins has already unveiled his motivation to conquer the Conqueror. If we're too tired to be anything but blunt, we're already in familiar territory: Roman Reigns last year expressed similar sentiments to those Rollins has alluded to thus far.

Still, this was clearly the fan's choice (albeit from a limited field, in terms of star power) - and that is something, like Lesnar himself, we've seen precious little of in the modern history of the show.
