Several Top NJPW Stars Pulled From Best Of The Super Jr. 29 Final
NJPW wrestlers hit with myriad issues ahead of BOSJ 29 final, prompting a card reshuffle.
Will Ospreay, Karl Anderson, and Tanga Loa have all been pulled from 3 June's NJPW Best of the Super Jr. 29 final, having previously been announced as part of the lineup.
NJPW broke the news on Tuesday. Ospreay has recently been suffering from a severe kidney infection and is unable to attend the event, making this the latest in a line of events he has had to pull out of since revealing the condition in May. Dave Meltzer reports that Ospreay, who was hospitalised, is now "doing a lot better", though he was in "really rough shape" last week.
Anderson, meanwhile, returned a positive PCR test result for COVID-19. Loa has been sidelined by a knee injury of unknown severity.
