Sha Samuels Signs With WWE - Debuts On NXT UK
WWE News - Sha Samuels Makes His NXT UK Debut!
With him having long been rumoured to have signed a WWE deal to compete in the NXT UK brand, not only has it now been confirmed that Sha Samuels is now a WWE talent, he also tonight made his NXT UK debut.
It was a losing effort for Samuels, with him being put down by Joe Coffey’s All the Best for the Bells lariat, although the more interesting matter was in how Samuels was introduced to the NXT UK banner.
Introduced as Ed Harvey, the British standout was quick to grab a microphone and clarify that he was not Ed Harvey – proclaiming that he didn’t come to NXT UK to be Ed Harvey, and that everyone knows he’s Sha Samuels.
Samuels also took to Twitter to confirm his signing.
A favourite of RevPro, wXw, PCW, ICW and so many other promotions, the 35-year-old Londoner is certainly a charismatic ‘get’ for WWE – and he could be a particular asset to the NXT UK brand once fans are eventually allowed to attend shows, with him known as someone who’s brilliant at generating a crowd response.
