Shane McMahon Ponders WrestleMania Match With... Hulk Hogan?
Shane stopped by Madison Square Garden, site of the first Mania, and posed question.
In a normal year, we would just dismiss this as normal Twitter banter.
But in a year where Vince McMahon is rumored to be competing at WrestleMania at age 76, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin might come out of retirement after 19 years, and Johnny Knoxville might wrestle for the Intercontinental Championship, we've got to give this due consideration.
Sunday night, Shane McMahon fired off a tweet with photos of himself at Madison Square Garden in front of a display on WrestleMania I and asked Hulk Hogan, "Got one more in ya?"
Walking in the hallway @TheGarden with my 3 sons for the @NYRangers game and passed this.
Made me think…@HulkHogan, got one more in ya? pic.twitter.com/Dnpm0Q7S6o

Shane has wrestled some of the biggest stars in WWE history, including The Rock, Undertaker, Austin, Kurt Angle and Triple H, but the Hulkster is not one of them.
This most likely is Shane, who was released from WWE days after the Royal Rumble, trying to make hay and have a little fun rather than stir up a rivalry. Shane has not been on TV since the Rumble. He also hasn't been linked to a WrestleMania 38 match, which had been the custom in recent years, with the younger McMahon competing at five of the last six Manias.
So yeah, this is most likely just idle chatter, but when Vince, Austin, Knoxville, Logan Paul and Pat McAfee being bandied about for Mania, we've got to give this a bit of attention. For the record, Hogan, 68, has not wrestled since January 2012 for TNA, and not in WWE since SummerSlam 2006.
