Six-Woman Tag Match Made For WWE WrestleMania 39
Trish Stratus to come out of retirement to join WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.
If you thought Trish Stratus' retirement was going to stick, you'd be sadly mistaken.
The Hall-of-Famer, who lost to Charlotte Flair at SummerSlam 2019, will come out of retirement for the second time in her career when she teams with WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Becky Lynch & Lita to battle Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 39.
Stratus aided Lynch & Lita last week on Raw during their tag title match against Iyo Sky & Dakota Kai, neutralizing Bayley on the outside and allowing the then-challengers to have a fair fight and capture gold.
Monday night, Damage CTRL came out during what felt like a rushed segment, with Trish quickly telling Bayley that she could un-retire quickly, challenging the trio to a six-woman tag match at Mania. The six brawled briefly, with Bayley bounced between the three faces before being pulled to safety.

The interesting note to this is that there were prevalent rumors that the tag champs would be facing Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler for the titles at Mania. However, Rousey has been dealing with an injured arm, so there could be concern that she wouldn't be ready to go in time for the big show.
There's also always the possibility that Lita and Lynch drop the tag titles in the next couple weeks, setting up a multi-team match among the remainder of the women's roster. That might be a better option that having the tag titles - and potentially Rousey - sitting on the sidelines at WrestleMania.
