3. Impact & GFW World Titles - Unification Match: Alberto El Patrón Vs. Lashley
Result: El Patrón nails the Double Foot Stomp to win the newly unified title (18:09).
Rating: This was a rock solid, fast-paced and intense main event that did a good job selling the gravity of the unified straps, even though to most fans it didn't really mean that much.
The desperate need to win was palpable throughout, and though it seemed like manager shenanigans would overshadow the match a few times, thankfully it was kept relatively minimal.
If there's one aspect holding the match back from being genuinely great, it's the totally out-of-nowhere ending, to the point that the crowd barely even reacted to the Double Foot Stomp and seemed genuinely surprised when it brought things to a close. For such an "important" match in the Impact/GFW lineage, it needed a stronger ending. Can you really imagine that finish looking good in a video package? 7/10
