AEW has officially signed Skye Blue to a company contract.

Tony Khan posted word on Twitter, and said inking a deal with the semi-regular star was "some great news for Easter weekend". Skye has been working matches for the promotion since 2021 (typically on lower-tier programming like Dark and Dark: Elevation, although she has also worked bouts on both Dynamite and Rampage in the past), but now it's official: She's on the AEW roster.

AEW used the typical, "*insert wrestler here* is #AllElite" graphic to announce her arrival.

Blue responded to the news via her own Twitter account, and said she was "tearing up" at the thought of becoming an official part of All Elite's locker room. The 23-year old had been tag-teaming AEW appearances with showings in the NWA and elsewhere on the independent wrestling circuit.

Now, she'll be an AEW full-timer, and that has to feel really, really good.

Khan kicked off a bumper weekend of programming for his company with this fan-pleasing announcement. Then, AEW went on to present both Rampage and a fairly low-key Battle Of The Belts VI on Friday night.
