Speculation On Wrestler Potentially Leaving AEW
Is this star set to be the next to leave AEW upon their contract expiring?
Rush's recent social media activity has fuelled speculation that the (former?) Faccion Ingobernable member could be on his way out of AEW.
Rush, who hasn't wrestled for AEW since May, was recently understood to be working on an expiring contract. Dave Meltzer reported as much in the 19 June edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, stating that the one-year deal Rush signed with the Tony Khan-helmed group in 2022 was coming to an end.
There was no word on an extension at the time of reporting.
Since then, Rush has only wrestled for Mexico's AAA - and a couple of tweets sent the rumour mill flying back into action earlier this week.
Rush himself tweeted a photograph with real-life brothers Dragon Lee and Dralistico, as well as their father La Bestia Del Ring, accompanied with a simple caption, "family":-

Rush's closest onscreen ally in AEW, Andrade El Idolo, recently returned to company television to enter an apparent trios feud with the House of Black. Rush had understandably been linked to the storyline as a potential Andrade partner.
AEW had not confirmed Rush's departure from the company at the time of publishing.
