The excitement for tonight's Double or Nothing is just beginning to bubble over as the hours tick down towards AEW's huge debut show, but for those who simply can't wait, we've been afforded a tantalising glimpse at the set in Las Vegas' MGM Grand Garden Arena.

We're going to go out on a limb here and say the stage might not be quite finished in this sneaky snap, but already it's shaping up to be suitably opulent and necessarily different. It might not have a 90 foot tall big screen with seven billion LEDs like a typically sleek WWE production, but it's not exactly tin pot, and, thanks to a dazzling chandelier as a centre piece, perfectly fits Double or Nothing's high-rolling theme.

The tunnels on either side of the entrance ramp are a very intriguing look, almost giving the stage a boxing aesthetic particularly familiar with past shows in the city. Presumably, they'll be used to separate AEW's heroic babyfaces from its nefarious nasties.

In an oblique snark towards WWE's production budget cuts, Cody has promised there will be "big pyro" as part of tonight's festivities. Things already look to be off to a cracking start...
