Fresh off Jay White's surprise appearance at Slammiversary's conclusion over the weekend, 'The Switchblade' has added to Bullet Club's ranks by recruiting Chris Bey to the faction.
Bey saved White from a Good Brothers beatdown on the first night of the tapings, leading to the pair losing a non-title bout to the IMPACT World Tag Team Champions. A follow-up on day two of the tapings saw Juice Robinson defeated by Bey, which resulted in 'The Ultimate Finesser' being offered a Bullet Club shirt and customary too sweet hand gesture following the match.
This makes Bey the first African-American member of Bullet Club, as well as the first IMPACT-contracted name to be inducted into the group.
Intriguingly, Chris Bey represented IMPACT in December as part of New Japan's Super J-Cup. He made it past Clark Connors in the opening round of the tournament, before falling to the now-retired ACH in round two. With Bey now aligned to BC, perhaps we'll see more of Bey in New Japan's junior heavyweight division.
As well as New Japan, IMPACT are also teasing All Elite Wrestling and Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide for their Bound For Glory pay-per-view on 23 October.
